Following the traditional buffet lunch at the FIJI House Pig Dinner Weekend, Brothers, Kace Family Members and Friends convened on the front porch for the formal dedication of the Kace Memorial Bench.

Conceived by Alpha Omega Graduating Classes of 2004, 2005 & 2006, the Kace Memorial Bench is designed to provide a suitable place of remembrance and solitude for future Alpha Omega Undergraduate Brothers.

During Jeff's years as an Undergraduate Brother, he would often spend free time on the front porch socializing with fellow Alpha Omega Brothers and relaxing in between classes.  This became Jeff's favorite spot in the FIJI House and Brothers from his era felt that a permanent bench would be a fitting tribute to Jeff.

Constructed of pressure-treated wood, the bench consists of a steel frame and has been bolted to the brick porch floor.  Permanently placed just to the left of the front door, visitors to the FIJI House and Alpha Omega Brothers will be forever reminded of Jeff's presence and of his contributions to Phi Gamma Delta Fraternity.  A Memorial Plaque has also been affixed to the back support of the bench.
