Alpha Omega's 40th Anniversary Celebration is Here!!
We are now taking reservations for Alpha Omega's 40th Anniversary Celebration Weekend.
The weekend's social events will "kick off" with a poolside cocktail reception (cash bar) and buffet dinner at The Ohio University Inn from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Friday, April 28th. The buffet cost ($35) will include a chilled antipasto display, choice of salads (garden, caesar & potato), three (3) entrees (shrimp scampi, chicken parmesan and lasagna), pasta, vegetables, potato, bread and dessert. You won't go to bed hungry!
A complimentary cold cut buffet lunch will be held at the Chapter House on Saturday from 11:45 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Class receptions (cash bar) will begin on the Nelson Commons patio at 6:00 p.m.; the banquet will begin promptly at 7:00 p.m. We will be holding a Silent Auction during the cocktail reception.
The 40th Anniversary Pig Dinner Banquet ($35) has been relocated to the Nelson Commons Dining Hall (South Green) in anticipation of a very solid turnout. The meal will consist of the customary roast sirloin dinner, salad, potatoes, vegetables, bread and dessert.
Due to the preliminary response from Graduate Brothers around the country, we are expecting very large attendance throughout the weekend! And, why not? We have graduated over 672 Brothers in the past 40 years! We also have an Undergraduate Chapter that boasts close to 100 members at the present time.
To help ensure that ample quantities of food will be available throughout the celebration, we are requesting that Brothers RSVP at the earliest possible time.
Prepayment by credit card for one or both dinners can be made online by clicking the link below. Alternately, you may respond by completing the preprinted reservation card that accompanied the invitation that you will receive by U.S. mail and enclose a check or money order payable to: The Alpha Omega Graduate Association, Inc. or simply "AOGA, Inc."
Our Keynote Speaker will be Phi Gamma Delta Executive Director and Editor William A. Martin, III (Mississippi State '75).
We look forward to seeing you at our 40th Anniversary Celebration the weekend of April 28, 29 & 30, 2006!!
