Our 40th Anniversary Celebration Weekend is almost here!! This event will clearly be the largest and most attended Alpha Omega Pig Dinner since our inception!

If you are planning to attend the Friday Evening Buffet and/or the Saturday Evening Pig Dinner Banquet, please help us out and RSVP today. We absolutely need to have an accurate headcount of those Brothers and Guests attending as both evening meals are being catered. Further, Janet Smith, Head Chef at the Chapter House, is planning a complimentary buffet lunch on Saturday prior to the AOGA Annual Meeting.

Friday Evening's Buffet will kick-off, poolside, at The Ohio University Inn starting at 7:00 p.m. The menu (cost $35 per person) will consist of chilled antipasto, choice of garden or caesar salad, pasta salad, bread, three (3) entrees (chicken parmesan, shrimp scampi or lasagna), vegetables, potatoes, pasta and dessert. A cash bar will be available.

This will be an excellent way to unwind after the drive down to Athens and catch up with your fellow graduate brothers!

Saturday Evening's Banquet will be held at the Nelson Commons Dining Hall, South Campus. Class receptions will be held on the Nelson Commons Patio starting at 6:00 p.m. and the banquet will promptly begin at 7:00 p.m. Dinner (cost $35 per person) will consist of the customary beef tenderloin, salad, potato, vegetables, bread and dessert.

Our Keynote Speaker for the evening will be Phi Gamma Delta Executive Director and Editor William A. Martin, III (Mississippi State '75). We will also have "Era Presentations" from representatives of the 1960s, 1970s, 1980s, 1990s and 2000s classes.

Please plan to attend and do let us know that you are coming down!

We desperately need to know if you'll be joining us for dinner on Friday night, Saturday night, or both. We also need to gauge the number of individuals who will join us for the buffet lunch at the Chapter House Saturday noon. RSVP Now!

If you are a habitual procrastinator and haven't completed your 2005 Income Tax Returns or made your 40th Anniversary Lodging reservations, check out the link below.

It won't make preparing and filing your income tax returns any easier, but it may make you sleep better knowing you have a place to stay when you arrive in Athens!

We have been canvassing local hotels/motels for the past week and updating the site daily with available lodging options.

Don't wait too much longer, however. Rooms are getting sparse.

Since 1994, 120 Alpha Omega Graduates and Parents of Alpha Omega Brothers have generously donated in excess of$75,000 to permanently endow the AOGA Tuition Scholarship. Over $20,000 in Tuition Scholarships has been awarded to 22 Alpha Omega Chapter Members.

Our goal to commemorate our 40th Anniversary, is to raise the Principal Value of the Tuition Scholarship Fund to $100,000 by the weekend of our 40th Anniversary Celebration.
